Market value and your Pronto cash price
Different prices answer different questions. Understanding them can make it easier to compare your options.
Market value
Market value is an estimate of what a buyer might pay for a property on the open market. It can depend on demand, presentation, timing and the information available about the house.
An estate agent’s valuation
An estate agent’s valuation is usually an opinion of the likely open-market sale price. It is not the same thing as a price from a buyer.
A Pronto cash price
A Pronto cash price is what we may be able to pay to buy your house directly. We use available property information and the details you provide to work out an online price where we can.
Why a direct purchase price may differ
A direct sale is a different route from marketing a house for an open-market buyer. The price can differ because the route is designed to be more straightforward and convenient. We do not show internal calculations or assume a result before we understand the property.
Condition and property details
Condition matters. You can correct property details and tell us whether the house is in good condition, needs updating or needs major work. If the information is not enough for an online cash price, we may need a closer review.
Before you decide
Your online cash price is a useful first step, not a final agreement. We will talk through the property and next steps with you before you decide whether to sell.
